Belvedere in UNESCO site - Piedmont Landscape and Literary Park for SPOTIT tool

The UNESCO World Heritage Site 'Vineyard Landscape of Piedmont: Langhe-Roero and Monferrato' is active in raising awareness among local institutions and residents about the quality of the landscape and the values that the recognition is promoting in the area. In 2021, the Associazione per il Patrimonio dei Paesaggi Vitivinicoli di Langhe-Roero e Monferrato promoted the creation of six viewpoints for a reading of the landscape according to UNESCO's interpretative keys, aimed at the widest possible range of users and in particular at the flow of tourists in order to get to know and appreciate a landscape recognised as a world heritage site. The viewpoints were financed by the Piedmont Region to six municipalities.

In the framework of the SPOT H2020 project and Piedmont Landscape and Literary Parks, the cartography operable through GIS software is provided.
