Description
Due to the rapid changes in the information and social environment, the modern teenager resorts to many different forms of influence on his personality, and more often – negative. Adolescence is considered to be one of the most sensitive periods of human life, so the environment at this time can act destructively on the personality: to influence its vital activity, physical and mental health, to develop an aggressive form of behavior and to serve as a loss of moral and value attitudes. Therefore, now the issue of the formation of psychological security of adolescents and its mechanisms occupies a rather significant place in domestic and foreign science. The article analyzes the concept of psychological security and its structure, considers the features of personality formation during adolescence. The purpose of the work was to study the peculiarities of the formation of psychological security of the adolescent personality (on the example of a group of adolescents aged 13-14 years). Specific methods were used in the study: the Dembo-Rubinstein self-esteem diagnostic method, the method "Psychological safety of the educational environment of the school" (I.A. Bayeva), the method "Motivation of success and avoidance of failure (A.A. Rean)", "Methods of diagnosing the level of development of reflexivity (A.V. Karpova)". The results indicate that 25% of the respondents have low self-esteem, 45% have adequate self-esteem, and the remaining 30% consider their level of self-esteem to be overestimated. It was also found that 32% of adolescents feel insecure in the school environment, 48% of the sample feel more protected than insecure, while only 20% of respondents feel completely protected. Of the sample of adolescents aged 13-14, the majority of respondents (56%) tend to occupy an intermediate place between the positions of "motivation to succeed" and "avoidance of failure", while the desire to succeed is observed in 32% of the respondents, and the remaining 12% of the sample follow a cautious model of behavior. It is demonstrated that most of the respondents of the survey have a low level of reflexivity (76%), the last 24% have an average level of reflexivity, while none of the sample has a high level of reflexivity. There is a significant relationship between the level of psychological security and adequate self-esteem, striving for success, reflexivity.
