The theses present the results of the research directed to determination of the particular features of motivation of smoking and smoking cessation of the different age smokers with different levels of smoking addictions. It has been stated that for the people under investigation with a high, average and low levels of nicotine addiction the leading motives of smoking cessation are relaxation and support. The high addiction level is performed by individuals with smoking cessation external motivation.
