Description
Studies on the Recovery of the Bonelli's Eagle in Catalonia.-
A decline in the offspring of Bonelli's eagles (Hieraaetus fasciatus) in Catalonia has been observed, raising concerns. The primary causes of this decline in productivity can be attributed to two key factors: first, disturbances during the breeding period caused by human recreational activities in these areas, and second, a reduction in prey availability. To address this issue, the authors of this study have implemented an experimental feeding program for these birds.
