The study included materials of 60 patients with primary bone cancer who were examined and treated at the Azerbaijan Medical University Oncology clinic, 20 patients with acute hematogenous osteomyelitis and 22 practically healthy people. The difference between the levels of ß-TBG and acid phosphotaza in the acute hematogenous osteomyelitis patient group is in significant as compared with the control. In patients with primary bone cancer ß-TBG and acid phosphotaza levels were higher by 8 and 23.6 fold (p<0.05) compared in patients with acute hematogenous osteomyelitis. Our results suggest that in addition to ß-TBG and acid phosphotaza levels could be useful in differentiation of the primary bone cancer and acute hematogenous osteomyelitis.
