Determination of Leaf Rust Resistance Gene (Lr19) in Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) Genotypes Гsing SCAR-markers

61 wheat genotypes (Triticum aestivum L.) from the Gene Pool of the Research Institute of Crop Husbandry (Azerbaijan) were screened using the SCAR-markers associated with leaf rust resistance gene Lr19. As a result of PCR analysis using marker SCS 123 locus of 737 bp was detected in 48 genotypes. Marker SCS 253 detected the expected locus of 688 bp only in 53 genotypes. The results obtained with both markers indicate that gene Lr19 presented on 7D chromosomes in 45 genotypes. The existence of Lr19 gene was not proved only in 5 wheat genotypes from the 61 used.
