Odnalezienie Salix kitaibeliana (Salicaceae) w Babiogórskim Parku Narodowym

Description

After nearly 150 years, Salix kitaibeliana Willd. was once again found in Babia Góra National Park. This high-mountain species was observed on the northern slope of Mt. Diablak, at 1595 m a.s.l. The population occupies approx. 20 m2 and consists of one strongly overgrown individual. Mt. Diablak is the only place of occurrence of S. kitaibeliana in Poland outside the Tatra Mountains.
