Chlorophyll Fluorescence, Fluctuation Asymmetry Parameters And Elemental Analysis In The Leaves Of Olea europea L. Plants in territories Of Baku characterized by various degrees of pollution
Description
The study is dedicated to the definition of indicative and remedative features of plants, which are of great importance for the environmental assessment. For this purpose, chlorophyll fluorescence, fluctuation asymmetry and elemental analysis have been performed in parallel, and correlation among them has been defined in the leaves of Olea europea L. olive plants grown in territories of Baku characterized by various degrees of pollution. The study of the physiological state, phenotypic changes in morphological characters and the ability to accumulate metal elements in the plant leaves may provide valuable information for the environmental monitoring.
