Glucose Homeostasis In Blood During Early Postnatal Ontogenesis And Experimental Hypoxia

  • 1. Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University

Description

The study showed that the glucose levels changes with very characteristic dynamics throughout the day in the blood of normally developing two monthly rabbit- males and females. At this age, the amount of glucose in the blood at various times of the day (morning, afternoon, evening) is approximately the same; it has no special rhythm and does not show marked differences by gender. Severe hypoxia in the body of those young animals blood glucose homeostasis changes the initially hyperactive, and then hypoglycemic reactions and gender of animals does not play a significant role in the development of these reactions. Assumed that in acute oxygen deficiency due to a sharp decline in the utilization of glucose in the tissues may occur in the blood hyperglycemic condition
