The study of biochemical composition of fruits of the local pear varieties and the wild forms distributed in the Shaki-Zagatala region

In the course of the research, the amounts of total sugar, vitamin C, dry matter and acidity of fruits of 17 local pear varieties of the national selection and 2 wild forms spread in the Shaki-Zakatala region were determined. Farmers were recommended to use the national varieties of pears with richer bio-chemical composition, in breeding and creation of new pear orchards
