Description
In this paper, we present the results of the study of the pancreatobiliary system after the enzyme correction in patients with malabsorption syndrome developing in stomach cancer. In 27 patients with malabsorption syndrome developing in gastric cancer, after gastrectomy, a course of enzyme therapy was carried out, in order to normalize metabolic processes in the liver, pancreas and bile ducts. The activities of ALT, AST, alkaline phosphatase, lipase, α-amylase and elastase-1, were studied in blood serum of the patients before and after gastrectomy. As a result of the studies conducted 3 and 6 months after gastrectomy, a significant decrease in the activity of ALT, AST, alkaline phosphatase and lipase in blood serum of patients was detected. There was also a significant increase in elastase-1 in the coprofiltrate of patients with gastric cancer
