Assessment of newly developed molecular methods against the existing techniques

Since 30 years and the development of the first molecular techniques for the detection of Echinococcus DNA, the molecular diagnostic became essential. There are currently a lot of molecular assays to detect DNA of Em and Eg sl by different types of techniques. In absence of reference methods, a comparison of the most used methods and those developed in Meme was realized in order to be able to provide recommendations.
