Description

Sorex sinuosus Grinnell, 1913. Univ. Calif. Publ. Zool., 10: 187.

TYPE LOCALITY: U.S.A., California, Solano Co., Grizzly Isl. (near Suisun).

DISTRIBUTION: Grizzly Isl. and adjacent tidal marshes of north San Francisco Bay.

COMMENT: May prove to be a subspecies of ornatus; see Hall, 1981:40; Junge and Hoffmann, 1981:34.
