Do budoucna připravujeme statistické zpracování vzorku vyšetřovaných pacientů v sjednoceném protokolu.
ABSTRACT
It is an established mental stereotype that in the pharmacological treatment of any disease, the effect of the drug in the target tissue depends on the daily dose of the drug. The dose of the drug is the primarily variable, but only one of many that play a role in the response to treatment. It is demonstrable that therapeutic influence of psychopharmaceuticals is better correlated in the plasma level of the drug than with its daily dose. Another fact is significant and diverse intra- and interindividual abnormalities, which can not be accurately predicted and can frustrate the effect of the entire treatment or even endanger the treated. Once of the variables, acute inflammation occurs, which can significantly relieve plasma levels of antipsychotics. At the clinical workplace of the authors, we monitor the levels of administered antipsychotics as a standard part of laboratory screening. In the poster, we focus on changes in antipsychotic levels among clinical acute inflammation. We present our experiences on case reports. In accordance with available literary sources, we found that the monitored antipsychotics significantly reduce their levels in acute inflammation of various etiologies. At the time of inflammation, there was a significant increase in the levels of olanzapine, clozapine and quetiapine. In case of aripiprazole, there was a slight decrease in the level. Inflammation did not affect the level of haloperidol. Adequate level of olanzapine in CSF was demonstrated in one case. In our presentation, these are case reports of individual patients, but the results clearly demonstrate the importance of monitoring the levels of administration of psychopharmaceuticals. We see it as necessary to monitor the levels of psychopharmaceuticals during clinical manifestations of acute inflammation of both bacterial and viral origin. In the future, we are preparing statistical processing of a sample of examined patients in a unified protocol.
