Description
These are image datasets analysed in the publication "Insights into the interaction of a shale with CO2" by Stavropoulou and Laloui in 2022 in Scientific Reports, DOI: TBC
- File 1 contains the 3D reconstructed, normalised and registered x-ray tomography volumes of sample A analysed in the paper in bin 2. (9 month CO2 exposure)
- FIle 2 contains:
- the 3D reconstructed, normalised and registered x-ray tomography volumes of the shale sample directly exposed to supercritical CO2.
- the calculated vol. strain from digital volume correlation performed with the spam tookit.
- the results of the CO2 uptake
