TYPE LOCALITY: Colombia, "W. Cundinamarca, in the low-lying hot regions."
DISTRIBUTION: E Panamâ, Colombia, Ecuador, and Perù.
SYNONYMS: melanops Goldman, 1912; peruvianus Osgood, 1913.
