Description

This is deliverable 4.5 – Data usage for hazard analysis – of the H2020 FET-Open project NEWTON-g (GA No 801221). The work described here was carried out in the framework of WP4 (Data analysis). D4.5 presents the possible application of gravity data to characterize volcanic hazard, with a focus on lava fountains, which have been one of the most distinctive characters of Mt. Etna’s volcanic activity during the last two decades. In particular, two different approaches are applied, one data-driven, the other model-driven.
