Caron_HOE_Legacy3_SCOPE

This dataset is from the SCOPE HOE Legacy 3 cruise conducted in March 2016. The goal was to characterize the gene expression patterns of protists from different depths (Surface, DCM, 150 m, and 1000 m). Metatranscriptomes were produced from a size fraction designed to preferentially select for protists (>0.7µm), and used to investigate spatiotemporal shifts in metabolic priorities.
