Description
Through the divorce or the break-up the mother's role comes much more to the foreground, at the same time the father's role steps more into the background, although this is not what mothers want. The results of the quantitative research have shown that in most cases of divorces or break-ups the children stayed at their mothers. Fathers agreed with the decision.
Both parents are prepared to cooperate for the good of their children. It seems important and necessary for them (mothers approve fathers' cooperation at upbringing), if the father has positive influence on the child. Mothers reject associating with fathers after divorce or break-up but are prepared to find professional help and appreciate the function of the existing state institutions. Nevertheless, they are not informed about the civil societies and their activities.
