The purpose of this paper is focusing on understanding and developing the emotional intelligence of Students in Hubli City. The emotional intelligence is the capability of individuals to recognize their own emotions and those of others, with the different feelings and label them appropriately. A sample size of 275 students were surveyed during the month of October & November 2019. Further, the data collected is then statistical techniques like One Way Anova and Factor Analysis, where One WayANOVA is used for identifying the positive and negative attributes from the students and Factor analysis is used to determine the major important factors. The major conclusions drawn from this research is found to be that the students are aware of their Emotions, but they do not know how to manage emotions. As they are unable to trace their emotions patterns the students are found in position where they not handling the negative emotions about the self.
