SOCIOCULTURAL STUDY OF YOUNG WOMEN STUDYING IN COLLEGES EXCLUSIVE FOR WOMEN

Young students are the future citizens of our country and as such a subject of great importance. It has been seen that
some female students prefer to study in educational institutions meant exclusively for women students. This study is an
attempt to find out the socio economic and family backgrounds these girls come from. It is also an endeavor to ascertain
their attitudes/ opinions on subjects like education and marriage. The limitation of the study is that no comparative
indices for women studying in co-educational colleges has been taken, which can be a scope for further study.
