A Protocol for Coupling Volumetrically Dynamic In vitro Experiments to Numerical Physiology Simulation for A Hybrid Cardiovascular Model

Description

This software contains the codes serving as supplemental data for the pending journal publication:

Umo A, Kung E.  "A Protocol for Coupling Volumetrically Dynamic In vitro Experiments to Numerical Physiology Simulation for A Hybrid Cardiovascular Model"  IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering.

The codes run hybrid cardiovascular models that couple a virtual experiment to a lumped-parameter physiology model, and the corresponding integrated models which offer the "gold standard" solution to validate the coupling results.  Several physiologic cases are included to demonstrate the performance of the coupling method over a range of scenarios.
