The global shift towards population aging is a phenomenon that the world can no longer ignore in the 21st century. Recent decades have been characterized by an increase in the number (and share) of elderly people. With the transition to retirement age, older people spend more time at home. That is why the characteristics of the housing in which the elderly live become especially relevant, the living space must be comfortable and safe. The housing situation of the elderly plays a fundamental role in maintaining their quality of life and health.
