Description

Excel template for plotting data into the AFM diagram (for igneous rocks), TAS diagram and K2O-SiO2 diagram.

Requires input of major element data, at least those necessary to construct the plots. The sample data can be arranged in up to 15 groups that will be displayed with different symbols/colours in the diagrams.

The file "AFM-TAS-K2O-2022-09min" is a downscaled version of the older file. Each group is limited to 100 samples or less whereas the older version allowed the entry of data for up to 300 samples per group. Also, some errors in the instructions (sheet "more info") that are relevant to the display of rock names, if you tried to expand the group sizes to more than 300 samples, were corrected. Use the old file if your group sizes are between 101 and 300 samples. In other cases, use the new file.

Tested with Excel 2019 for Mac and Windows

Notes

Tested with Excel 2019 for Mac and Windows. Not fully compatible with older versions.
