Amazon Blowdowns Disturbance Output
Description
This shapefile and csv. provide information like locations and visible dates of blowdown events that occurred in the Amazon Rainforest.
Notes
This shapefile is a collection of polygons of blowdown events. The polygons are corresponded to dead tree gaps and soils concentrated together and individual spots of canopy gaps. Polygons contain the shape of blowdown gaps. The geographic reference coordinate system of the polygons is set to WGS84. The fields in attribute include each polygon's area (geodesic), first visible time on the image and locations. These blowing events all occurred after September 2020 and they varied in size and shape.
