Description
The metagenomics dataset was collected from the persistent microbial bloom from the chemocline (oxic-anoxic boundary) of Lake Cadagno. The location of the chemocline was between 13-15.5 m in depth. There are a total of 4 metagenomics samples; one from 13 m, two from 15 m (with and without mesh collected from the peak of turbidity), and one from 15.5 m.
The title of the prospective publication is
Metagenomics provides a near-complete genome of Chlorella-like microbial eukaryote and reveals its potential for carbon, sulphur and nitrogen metabolism in Proterozoic ocean analogue
List of data: SPAdes generated main metagenomics assemblies, Overall MAGs obtained using CONCOCT, Novel refined Chlorophyta MAG with its raw reads and group. Plus, two additional chloroplast genomes.
