Description
With a survey of literature on entrepreneurship domain reveals that a specific and sophisticated study to empirically assess the “readiness of individuals for entrepreneurship” is very much missing. Alicia Coduras and team have developed an instrument that can measure an individual's entrepreneurial readiness however that was not empirically tested hence this paper attempts to fill that gap as a goal of this study. Several variables associated with entrepreneurial behavior have been considered in the model's construction. The variables have been grouped into three categories such as sociological related, psychology related, and management & entrepreneurial background related are graded according to a prescribed system. The goal is to provide empirical evidence of calculating individual readiness scores for entrepreneurship, as well as the influence of entrepreneurial training in such readiness. The findings of the study can also be helpful for those who impart entrepreneurial training to measure the impact of their efforts in getting the start-up results.
