ON THE ISSUE OF COVID-19 PREVENTION IN THE NEW CONDITIONS
Authors/Creators
Description
The emergence of new infectious diseases caused by pathogens of especially dangerous infections with a high epidemic potential is one of the health events that pose a global threat to humanity in the event of their interstate spread. The processes of globalization contribute to the spread of pathogens, since the standards for protecting the borders and territories of states that have existed for a long time can no longer prevent the removal of new pathogenic biological agents from primary cells to other states and continents. The mass destruction of the population, the inconsistency of the organization and the introduction of adequate and effective anti-epidemic and therapeutic measures in the dynamics of the development of epidemic complications, the degree and speed of depletion of healthcare system resources and a number of other negative impacts determine the socio-medical significance of mandatory vaccination. The ambiguous attitude to vaccination against COVID-19 of medical workers makes it necessary to promptly take corrective measures, especially in a number of regions of the Udmurt Republic. Work should continue to provide reliable information about the benefits of vaccination to both medical workers and the entire population of the Republic.
