Mahatma Basaveshwar's thought in skill development

Industrial development is essential for the development of economy.  Skilled workers are required for this.  To fill the gaps in the demand and supply of skilled workers in the industrial sectors, the Central Government has undertaken Skill Development Programme.  This program is to be implemented through public participation and private sector partnership.  India's Finance Minister Hon'ble Nirmala Sitharaman is greatly influenced by the thoughts of Saint Mahatma Basaveshwar.  He mentioned the teachings of Saint Mahatma Basaveshwar while presenting the budget.  He mentioned Mahatma Basaveshwara's "Kayak Ve Kailas Siddhanta and Dasoh Siddhanta. Kayak Ve Kailas means worship of labor and Dasoh means giving to the society. According to him, the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana is based on Mahatma Basaveshwar's thought.  We will consider this task of skill development.
