Features of the spatial organization of the activities of regional sanatorium-resort complexes

In modern realities, strategic management and scientifically based planning at various territorial levels of state control significantly increases the level of financial and economic stability of complex socio-economic systems, including the sanatorium and resort complex. In recent years, sustainable development programs in Russia have been steadily implemented both at the state and regional levels, supported by systemic regulatory and legal regulation. Topical aspects of recreation and tourism are considered, definitions of tourist and recreational space and its types are given; the essence and correlation of recreational and tourist spaces, resorts, tourism destinations and clusters are revealed. The article presents the factors of development of the management system of socio-economic development of sanatorium complexes. The scheme of the management system of socio-economic development of the sanatorium complex, developed on the basis of the use of scientific and theoretical approaches, is also considered. It is concluded that the management process of the enterprises of the sanatorium-resort complex should be formed taking into account the influence of many internal and external factors, and also that the resort territories cannot effectively develop separately, therefore they should be included in the socio-economic system of the region.
