INFORMATION LITERACY AND RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT: AN REVIEW

This is an attempt to highlight the interdependence of Right to Information (RTI) and information literacy
and the role of public libraries which acts as catalyst between the two. Public library is the only effective social
repository which can collect and organize the above mentioned information and provide access to it to all the people
free of cost in an equal and unbiased way.
