Description
This table presents the bilingual typology of academic degrees used in the Modern China Biographical Database. It is based mainly on the data collected in historical sources.
There are two levels:
- Degree name: full name of the academic degree in English
- Degree_Level_Eng: first level of classification and clustering of academic degrees in English
- Degree_Level_ZhT: first level of classification and clustering of academic degrees in Chinese
