Description

Introduction: Male sexual dysfunction is prevalent among individuals with psychiatric or physical comorbidities. Psychiatric disorders per se can cause male sexual dysfunctions; more so, psychotropic medications used in their treatment can also result in male sexual dysfunctions. Likewise, physical illnesses can have a direct or indirect effect, through physical or psychological problems, on the sexual functioning of an individual. Thus, having sound knowledge about these variables would assist clinicians in comprehensive assessment and management. Despite the topic's significance, literature is scarce in this area. Therefore, the current paper aims to review existing literature on male sexual dysfunctions with co-morbid psychiatric and physical illnesses, including their management.

Methodology: PubMed and Google Scholar databases were searched, along with bibliographic- and grey literature search, to obtain relevant records. We described the findings of the review narratively
