Moluscos pliocenicos da região de Caldas da Rainha-Marinha Grande - Pambal (Portugal)

The present paper is a systematic study of two species of Archaeogastropoda
(Fissurellidae) from Vale do Freixo, a pliocene outcrop (Piacenzian) of the Caldas da Rainha - Marinha Grande - Pombal region. Also presented are their chronostratigraphical, and geographical distribution together with the citations in the Portuguese Neogene, and information concerning their ecology - substrate type, feeding methods, depth, and mode of life.
