Description
The article presents the results of industrial experiments to monitor the impact of mass explosions in quarries on the environmental condition and seismic safety of infrastructure. According to the results of measurements of soil seismic oscillations, the maximum allowable seismically safe distance from the Ingulets riverbed to blocks depending on the mass of charges in the deceleration group and the maximum allowable seismically safe mass of charges in the deceleration group are substantiated. Dependences of change of concentration of dust particles and emission of CO and NO2 gases in quarry air on the basis of monitoring at observation stations are constructed. Effective measures have been developed to improve the destruction of rocks, environmental and seismic safety of mining operations in quarries.
