ON THE COMPOSITION AND CONSTITUTION OF PARAMOLYBDATES.

According to some workers the paramolyhdates have the composition, 3R₂O₇,MoO₃ eq., and should be formulated as R6Mo₇O₂₄ eq., while others represent them as 5R₂OI₂MoO₃ aq , or more definitely as R₅H₅[H₂(MoO₄)₆]aq., due to Rosenheim. Jander in agreement with the latter view, represents the paramolybdate as R₅[HMo₃O₁₁] aq.
