AN EMPIRICAL EQUATION RELATING EXTINCTION COEFFICIENT WITH FREQUENCY IN AN ABSORPTION BAND

Description
An empirical equation relating extinction coefficient with frequency in an absorption bend has been developed which can be used in all forms of absorption curves and from this the equation of circular dichroism and rotatory dispersion in the region of absorption have been deduced.
