D8.3 - First report on targeted new fieldwork study results

This report provides an overview of the aims of WP8 within the HBM4EU project. The main objective is to collect new samples and data to determine exposure to a priority list of chemicals in the general population as well as in occupational settings. The strategies used included the following:

(1) Align current studies in partner countries and collect new samples for general population exposures

(2) Utilise biobanked samples to do new chemical analysis

(3) Collate data that has already been published.

This will facilitate the collection of human biomonitoring data from across Europe focussing on a specified time frame and thereby enabling time trend analyses.
