Aromatic amino-azo dyes and aromatic hydrery-azo dyes of ethylene-\(bis\)-N¹-sulphanilamide have been prepared by coupling tetrazotised ethylene-\(bis\)-N¹-sulphanilamide with various aromatic hydroary compounds and aromatic amines.
