BROMINATION OF 2-AMINOTHIAZOLES AND THEIR USE AS POSSIBLE FUNGICIDES AND BACTERICIDES
Authors/Creators
Description
Seventeen different 4-aryl-1-substituted 2-aminothiazoles have been synthesised and brominated. The position of the bromine atom has been ascertained to be at the 5th carbon atom of the thiazole nucleus.
The fungicidal and the bactericidal properties of these monobromothiazoles have also been studied with promising results..
