Interaction of Aliphatic Amines, Ammonia and Alkali with  5-Alkyl or Aryl Amino-substituted-3-imino-I,2, 4-dithiazolidines  (Thiurets): Formation of Related Cyanothiocarbamide Salts

The aromatic, amines by their interaction with 5-substituted amino-3-imino-1, 2, 4-dithiazolidines have been reported to form the related N-arylforrmamidino-N'-substituted thiocarbamides. In contrast to this, aliphatic amines are now found to afford only the corresponding salts of the related cyanothiocarbamides.
