On the Study of the Coseparation of Thorium. (UXI) with Calcium Oxalate

Description

The uptake of thorium (UXI) and yttrium by calcium oxalate has been studied. It has been found that similar to rae earths, thorium (UXI) also carried through mixed crystal formation by calcium oxalate dihydrate. The range of mixed crystal formation of europium, yttrium, and thorium (UXI) as guest in this system has been investigated. In the case of thorium (UXI), an unstable guest component is carried through mixed crystal formation by calcium oxalate dihydrate.
