Description

All 281 type specimens (including 117 holotypes and 154 lectotypes) of Cerambycidae preserved in Zoological Museum of Moscow University are presented; 19 lectotypes are designated here. New synonyms and a new name are proposed: Saperda Fabricius, 1775 = Nietzscheana Zubov, 2014, syn. nov. and Saperda alberti Plavilstshikov, 1915 = Nietzscheana plutenkoi Zubov, 2014, syn. nov.; Phytoecia (Parobereina) plavilschikovi, nom. nov. for Ph. (P.) pallidipennis Plavilstshikov, 1926 - junior homonym (not Ph. pallidipennis Redtenbacher, 1848). One species name was downgraded to subspecies rank Dorcadion (Cribridorcadion) scabricolle dobrovljanskii Suvorov, 1915, stat. nov. Two specimens of Chapaon apicale Pic, 1922 and Cylindropemus (sic!) griseipennis Pic, 1932 are designated as lectotypes in Muséum national d'Histoire naturelle (Paris) and corresponding paralectotypes are preserved in Zoological Museum of the Moscow State University and in Paris as well. Each description of a type specimen includes: original name in original combination, original indication of the type locality, real type locality, reference to the original publication, valid name, defects of the specimen, content of all labels, and sometimes remarks (taxonomy or geography comments).
