REABILITAÇÃO ORAL DE ARCOS COMPLETOS COM SISTEMA IPS E.MAX: RELATO DE CASO

Description

Relatar um caso clínico de reabilitação oral de arcos completos com reestabelecimento funcional de dimensão vertical de oclusão e estético utilizando Sistema IPS e.max CAD. A reabilitação oral do paciente realizada com Prótese Fixa é recomendada por vários estudos em relação ao método de aumentar DVO. Isto é atribuído ao fato da prótese fixa possuir a vantagem de ser fixada na boca, imitando a morfologia do dente natural, com menor interferência na fala e proporcionando conforto oclusal e funcional. Além disso, as próteses fixas aumentam a adesão e aceitação do paciente ao tratamento Diante do exposto, conclui-se que a reabilitação oral de arcos completos utilizando Sistema IPS e.max CAD é uma opção viável de tratamento, capaz de restabelecer a estética e função no entanto seu protocolo clínico de utilização deve ser rigorosamente seguido, para que os tratamentos restauradores com modernos sistemas cerâmicos associados aos novos cimentos autoadesivos favoreçam a longevidade dessas restaurações.

Abstract To report a case of oral rehabilitation of complete arches with functional reestablishment of vertical dimension of occlusion and aesthetic system using IPS e.max CAD. The oral rehabilitation of the patient performed with Fixed Prosthodontics is recommended in many studies regarding the method of increasing DVO. This is attributed to the fact that fixed prosthesis has the advantage of being fixed in the mouth, imitating the natural tooth morphology, less interference with speech and providing occlusal and functional comfort. In addition, fixed prostheses increase patient acceptance and adherence to treatment. Given the above, it is concluded that the oral rehabilitation of complete arches using IPS e.max CAD System is a viable treatment option, able to restore aesthetics and function however its clinical protocol of use must be strictly followed so that the restorative treatments with modern ceramic systems associated with new adhesive cements promote the longevity of these restorations.
