DIRECTIONS FOR ASSESSING THE QUALITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS IN AZERBAIJAN

The scientific article clarifies the essence of the concept of quality as one of the philosophical categories, identifies self-regulatory mechanisms of quality assurance at the level of the higher education system as a whole and the directions of their implementation. The concepts of monitoring in education, as well as diagnostics, forecasting and correction, and their functions are defined.
