 Benzyl anilines were condensed with chloroacetyl chloride and the resulting chloroacetanilides on heating with secondary amines gave "Diethylamino-Morpholino-Piperidino-N-(substituted benzyl)-acetanilides". Some of these compounds exhibited local anaesthetic activity.
