5-Phenylimino-3-p-tolylimino-, 5-phenylimiuo-3-m-tolyllmino-, 5-phenylimino-3-p-ethoxyphenylimino-, 5-phenylimino-3-p-CI-phenylimino- and 5-phenylimino-3-ethylimino-l,Z,4-dithinzolidines have been synthesised by the oxidative de-p-chlorobenzylation and simultaneous ring closure of the corresponding 1,5-diaryl/arylalkyl-2-S-p-Cl-benzyliso-4-thiobiurets.
