Description

Collection of certified trajectories, covering a wide range of nova outbursts. Every trajectory comes with the selected initial abundances of the accreted material and other key information, such as the reference of the publication, the accretion rate, the accreting white dwarf mass and its composition.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q1: What are the main assumptions concerning the initial abundances in the Jose_Hernanz_1998 folder?

A1: For simplicity, it is assumed pre-enriched, accreted material with a composition corresponding to 50% solar (from Lodders 2009) and 50% outer layers of the WD substrate (from Ritossa et al. 1996). 

Q2: Can I use these trajectories for nuclear sensitivity studies and/or to compute ejected stellar yields?

A2: These trajectories can be used for nuclear sensitivity studies, but they cannot be used to compute stellar yields.
