Clavatula (Clavatula)

Description

Clavatula (Clavatula) cf. pseudinterrupta Peyrot— Steininger et al. 1973: 438.

Steininger et al. (1973) mentioned two poorly preserved specimens from the Ottnangian of Bavaria (Germany), which have not been illustrated. As stated by the authors, their specimens are not conspecific with the species from France.

Rutsch (1929) and Pfister & Wegmüller (2007) described several specimens from the Burdigalian of Switzerland, which they assigned to Clavatula (Perrona) cf. jouanneti [sic] (Des Moulins) (in Rutsch 1929: 14, pl. 1, fig. 2) and to Clavatula sp. 1 and Clavatula sp. 2 (in Pfister & Wegmüller 2007: 176, pl. 11, figs 9–21). The poor preservation of these specimens does not allow any identification.
