Surface Properties of Some Indian Vermiculites and Chlorites

Adsorption, desorption and chemisorption of the polar organic liquid and the basic cationic dye on some homoionic clay minerals-vermiculites and chlorites-are reported. The limitations of  measurement of specific surface based on these measurements are discussed.
